You let retail get sacrificed first.

1️⃣ FIRST PRINCIPLE: A TRAP IS A LIQUIDITY EVENT

A trap is confirmed ONLY AFTER:

  • Obvious retail entries triggered

  • Stops clearly run

  • Price fails to continue in the “confirmed” direction

If there is no pain, there was no trap.

2️⃣ IDENTIFY THE TRAP (3-STEP CONFIRMATION)

A trap is VALID only if ALL appear:

☐ Fake breaker dot printed
☐ Retail enters immediately
☐ Price sweeps stops and returns inside structure

📌 The return is the tell.
Strong moves do NOT return.

3️⃣ THE POST-TRAP ZONE (THIS IS YOUR EDGE)

After the stop-run:

  • Price re-enters the origin zone

  • This zone becomes a Re-entry Order Block (ROB)

Institutions:

  • Filled positions during stop-run

  • Defend this zone aggressively

👉 This is where highest RR exists.

4️⃣ THE POST-TRAP TRADE MODEL (STEP-BY-STEP)

🔴 Example: Fake Bearish Breaker → Bullish Trap

Step 1 — Let retail get trapped

  • Bearish breaker dot

  • Shorts enter

  • Stops above structure

You do nothing.

Step 2 — Stop-run confirmation

  • Price spikes above breaker

  • Takes out equal highs / obvious SLs

  • Long wicks or rejection

This is liquidity collection.

Step 3 — STRUCTURE FAILURE (CRITICAL)

  • M5 closes back below the trap high

  • Or prints BOS opposite to dot

This confirms:

“The breaker failed.”

Now you’re allowed to trade.

Step 4 — Entry (Sniper Zone)

Enter on:

  • Retest of trap origin

  • Or M5 BOS pullback

Entry logic

  • Entry near extreme

  • SL beyond stop-run high

  • Target range expansion

RR here = 1:5 to 1:10
